Move was a biweekly open stage that had a unique structure aimed at keeping the audience there for the entirety. Each week was booked with an up and coming artist/band/tattoo artist/etc from Seattle as the ‘headliner’, they would perform in the middle of the event, surrounded, before and after with open sign up sheet performers. The event was three hours longs and from the very first one till the very last one, it was almost always standing room only. This event has gone down in Seattle DIY histroy as the beginning of many collaborations & careers.

SEP was a website created to combat girl on girl crime, body shame & comparisons in Seattle’s Art community. In this series we interviewed hundreds of non-cis men as well as took nude photographs of everyone. The aim by combining those two mediums was to desexualize the human body and humanize the artists in them. This website and the events it held were widely received and 200+ artists were interviewed and photographed.

Punk Rock Flea Market is a long standing flea market in Seattle. Here I was in charge of running all the things that insured that you had a good time. Legally. I assembled a team of charismatic employees. Built and maintained relationships with vendors. I designed event set up for seamless maneuvering from vendor to customer to ensure an intuitive experience for the market go-er.

DESC is one of the biggest non profit orgs on the west coast that assists houseless peoples in getting housing, clothing, food and connecting them to resources. In my time there I created multiple new sources of revenue for the fund development team including online sales of donated goods that we were unable to give clients, the money made there used to purchase clothing and toiletries that we were able to hand out. As well as in-person flea market/concerts where we sold items and raised thousands of dollars. Long after I am gone, these systems are still in place. Many of the the donated items otherwise would’ve gone to waste.

Sad Sappy Suckers was a fundraiser DJ night for the anti valentines day kids. In order to get into the door you had to give us your top break up songs, this ensured that most people stayed, waiting for their song to be played.
